2018 Annual Meeting & Design Awards

Mahalo to all those who attended our Annual Meeting and Design Awards on Friday, October 5.

There were over 110 attendees including Mayor Kirk Caldwell! Our keynote speaker, Mia Lehrer (of Studio-MLA) shared her work, the importance of advocacy through design, landscape architects as leaders in re-imagining the urban environment, and working with local politicians and developers to create public spaces.

We also welcomed the first cohort of students in the Master of Landscape Architecture program at UHM School of Architecture and honored all the various award recipients.
